چکیده

ABSTRACT In the last years, jambu has become popular and greatly appreciated, due to its remarkable taste. Thus, hydroponically cultivated is promising, since it achieves better yield production quality. The aim of this study was evaluate effect ionic concentration in nutrient solution on growth, productivity gas exchange jambu. experimental design completely randomized, with five treatments four replicates. consisted variations using proposed by Hoagland & Arnon (25, 50, 75, 100 125%). length main stem, stem diameter, number inflorescence, leaf area, fresh dry biomass (shoot, root inflorescence), photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, transpiration, internal CO2 concentration, Ci/Ca ratio instant carboxylation efficiency were evaluated. Ionic concentrations significantly affected studied variables, except ratio. inflorescences area grew linearly maximum values (37.8 units plant-1 1650.8 cm2 plant-1, respectively) obtained 125%. Maximum responses observed for shoot mass (63.9 6.9 g plant-1), (16.7 2.0 plant-1) inflorescence (11.0 1.8 respectively, at Liquid transpiration achieved 17.9 µmol m-2 s-1, 0.3 mol H2O 6.3 mmol s-1 0.06 estimated 84, 70, 80 83% strength, respectively. we concluded that 125% indicated obtain a greater accumulation.

Alkylamides of Acmella oleracea.

Phytochemical investigation of the flowers of Acmella oleracea had resulted in the isolation of one new alkylamide, (2E,5Z)-N-isobutylundeca-2,5-diene-8,10-diynamide (1), together with four known analogues (2-5). The structures of these compounds were determined by the interpretation of spectroscopic methods, especially NMR technologies (COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY). In addition, a convenient m...

Macronutrient composition of nickel-treated wheat under different sulfur concentrations in the nutrient solution

The effect of different sulfate(VI) sulfur (2, 6, and 9 mM S) levels and nickel(II) chloride (0, 0.0004, 0.04 and 0.08 mM Ni) in the nutrient solution on productivity and macronutrient (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) status and accumulation in spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Zebra cv. was studied. Ni treatment reduced the biomass and disturbed the balance and accumulation of macronutrients in wheat. I...

The physiological bases of nutrient responses during lactation.

The lactating dairy cow responds to dietary changes according to the nutrients provided and her propensity to produce milk. The allocation of nutrient use to milk production or body gain is generally termed ‘partition’ and has been shown to be a function of both the animal and its diet. As feed intake is increased, the lactating cow responds with progressively smaller increments of increased mi...

effect of k and n concentrations in nutrient solution on growth and quality of tomato transplants

the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different potassium (k) and nitrogen (n) concentrations in nutrient solution and their interaction on growth and quality of tomato transplants. a full factorial experimental design was carried out with three potassium concentrations (1.5, 3 and 6 meql-1) and three nitrogen concentrations (1.5, 3 and 6 meql-1) for 27 days after seed germination...
